She was getting out of the shower when he showed up in the doorway. His eyes travelled over her body and he gave her an appreciative smile as she started drying her hair.

But there was something else besides appreciation and desire in his eyes - she caught it and it wasn't the first time.

Her scars... She looked down at her body - the streaks from a lashing cane that would never go away.

"Ugly, aren't they?" She said matter-a-factly and ran her finger along the longest one before she looked into his eyes.

He was shaking his head and she knew he didn't find them repulsive.

"It's just strange", he said, "they make me want to take care of you but at the same time they reveal just how little you need it..."

She smiled and wrapped herself in the towel. She moved up to him and kissed him.

"They're there to remind you - and me - of who and what I am..."

#2
She woke a bit disoriented from a bad dream. She glanced at her watch.

02:56 am.

She looked around in the plane. Most of the passengers were sleeping. The plane would not start its descend over Mexico City for another two hours. Again she looked at the watch. She didn't know why the time seemed important...

02:57 am.

She had a bad feeling, almost like a premonition. What had her dream been about? She couldn't remember now.

She shrugged. It was probably the anxiety of setting foot on the American continent again. And the long drive would take her closer to the border than she like to...

03:00 am.

She suddenly realized what she had dreamed about...

She had almost felt the bullets piercing through her flesh - someone had shot her. She shifted in her seat and glanced over to the man sitting next to her. He was here for her protection (or was it to make sure she did what she was supposed to?) and nothing could go wrong. By this time tomorrow she would already be on the plane back to Europe and Kiev. This was a simple operation but of utmost importance - so important that the Ukrainian government reluctantly had formed an unholy alliance with the Russian mafia just to get back what had been stolen from them.

03:01 am.

The bad dream was already forgotten. She closed her eyes. Maybe she should get some more sleep before they landed? It was going to be a long day...

Weird story that I won't do anything more with... Nina has a premonition about what is going to happen 24 hours later!

#3
She stretched out like a cat and curled up beside him. Her big green eyes had a mischievous look in them and he smiled back placing a kiss on her shoulder and then moving his mouth to her neck letting his tongue feel the hollow of her neck and the delicate gold chain she always wore. She moaned and leaned her head back. If she had really been a cat she would have purred and the thought made him smile.

He let his teeth rake the skin next to her ear and he felt her nails dig into his back as her arms moved around him and pulled him on top of her. She must have felt his arousal because she laughed softly and moved against him.

He nibbled on her earlobe before he kissed her neck again, letting his breath caress her skin as his mouth moved lower and lower. When he reached her abdomen she was panting and tried to push his head further down. He laughed and refused to budge and she looked down at him with eyes filled of desire.

He planted a soft kiss near her belly button and whispering he asked her:

"What is it that you want, Nina?"

"Please, Jack" she moaned.

"Please what?"

Like a cat she used her nails to scratch him impatiently. He was sure the marks on his back were bleeding and he pushed her hips down and then placed a hand under her buttocks.

"Just touch me, Jack" she pleaded and he let his tongue move over her, quickly and swiftly. Her back arched and she started pleading for more.

He suddenly got a feeling she really was just like a cat. A selfish creature - eager to please in order to get something in return... But what did she want from him? What more did he have to give her than this?

Jack and Nina smut that I wrote for a challenge but never submitted - or finished! (The word was cat)

#4
He moved beside her and she reached out for him. He kissed her on the cheek and she realized he was dressed.

"They need me to come in", he said.

She opened her eyes. "Just you?"

"I told them I'd call you... But I can go down and see what it's all about first, if you want?"

"Well, it's got to be something important if the want you in at...", she raised her head to look at the alarm clock "3 in the morning..."

He kissed her again. "Go back to sleep..."

"No, Jack. I am your second in command I need to go in too..."

She started to get out of bed and he sighed. He had hoped to be back within an hour and the thought of her waiting in bed for him had made it a little easier for him to get going.

"You can't keep shutting me out from work as you have with everything else lately..."

"I haven't shut you out...", but he was lying of course. "I try to keep you informed of everything, don't be unreasonable... I didn't get you into bed so that I could fire you... You get to know everything I know... you know I depend on you at work..." He caressed her cheek and tried to kiss her but she turned away.

"Like you did three weeks ago?" He had made a mistake thinking he could kiss away her thoughts of the office... she was angry now, bringing up how he had reacted when she tried to warn him about his source.

"Nina, just stay here..." He was getting annoyed and it really was just a misunderstanding.

"Is it an order?" She asked in a cold voice.

"OK", he shook his head. "You win..." Didn't she always? "Let's go!"

Part of a fic about Jack and Nina's relationship. This little argument is referred to in Crossing the line

#5
Jack went over to the house on Christmas day. It was early afternoon and the house was filled with relatives - not his, just Teri's. His parents had decided not to come and he was relieved not having to see them and again explain to them about him and Teri.

Kim opened the door. At least she was happy to see him. Teri just looked at him and her sister Carol ignored him. He hadn't planned on staying long but once he set foot in the house he didn't want to leave. This was home...

He sat down in his favourite chair and just looked at his daughter. He couldn't describe how good it felt seeing her so exited. She was happy about her gifts, happy to have a break from school and happy to see him. He gave her yet another hug as she walked by and she pretended it was getting tedious.

He followed Teri to the kitchen where he finally got her alone. It seemed like her family was trying to protect her, making sure he didn't get a chance to talk to her. She was taking out food from the refrigerator and he just watched her without saying a word. His stare made her uneasy and she couldn't ignore him anymore.

"Jack... please... Don't make this more difficult than it already is..."

"Difficult for whom", he asked.

She sighed and looked at him. "I miss you, Jack", she admitted. "But if things don't change..."

He nodded. "We need to talk", he said. "Will you call me?"

She nodded.

"I'm leaving", he said and turned towards the door. He stopped and looked back at her, his hand resting on the doorframe, "By the way... I left you a gift... it's in the bedroom"

The infamous Christmas fic that will never ever get finished! (Started writing it in Dec 2003)

#6
Faheen looked up when she entered the store. He walked into the back right away and she followed him into the back. He turned around and greeted her with a kiss on the cheek and she smiled.

"This is a bit of a risk, Mahmud" she said in Arabic and he nodded.

"Just had some news I wanted to share with you - and we might need your assistance."

She looked at him - he was definitely excited over something... What were they planning?

He showed her an image and she shook her head, not knowing what she was looking at.

"The bombs" he said in a whisper.

"Don't tell me too much", she said. "It's better if I don't know in case..."

He looked at her and in a strangely affective way he caressed her cheek.

"Nina, Nina... they will never break you..."

They could of course - eventually - but she realised it wasn't really the main reason for not wanting to know. Like she would have any doubts about sell him out if she had too? No, she didn't want to know because of the uncomfortable feeling it would give her. Knowing what was going to happen and try and hide her knowledge at CTU - it could get tricky.

#7
His kisses became harder, more persistent and he felt her tensing. His mouth left hers and travelled down her neck and up to her ear. She said his name, wanting his attention, but he continued, his hands moving up under her top to feel her smooth skin.

"Jack... J A C K!"

He heard the sharpness in her tone and stopped. He took his hands out form underneath her top and backed off. She was looking at him. No sign of desire or lust in her face. Her eyes were determined as she straightened out her top. So he had been mistaken? She was not interested in him like this... All the signs he had thought he had seen were just wishful thinking...?

She doesn't want you, Jack. Now get the hell out of here, before she slaps you, before you...

His self control faltered as he remembered his fantasises and suddenly his hand had found its way up under her skirt. He pressed her back against the wall and pushed his fingers under the edge of her underwear.

She had begun to protest but now she just stared at him. She looked at him defiantly, knowing that she was caught, and he pushed a finger inside her. She closed her eyes and gasped. Then her head lolled back and he smirked.

More unfinished smut... Damn, I have so many...

#8
She stumbled back pulling her top over her head and suddenly she bumped into the kitchen table. She felt the sharp edge against the back of her thighs as Jack pressed against her, not understanding why she had stopped and now groaning in disappointment. She leant back and eased herself up on the table. Now she could wrap her legs around him. He opened his eyes and saw her, in just her bra and panties leaning back slightly on the table, supporting herself with one arm, the other wrapped around his neck as she pulled him down. His self-control was gone as she felt her lips moving to his ear and heard her whisper:

"Now, Jack... come on..."

His pants pushed down to his ankles, fighting to step out of them and her hands moved and grabbed him through his boxers and he growled and pushed her back.

A loud crash, the sound of glass being broken. His hands, on their way of jerking her underwear down stopped as his head turned towards the sound. On the floor next to the table the broken coffee pot, glass everywhere and on the table Nina laughing.

"Jack, she smiled. You should have seen your face!"

He grunted in response and stepped back careful not to step on the glass. She sat up on the table and reached for him. Still laughing she pulled him down to kiss her and he felt himself unable to smile back.

"Glad I can entertain you..." he muttered but then his tone changed. "I'm glad to see you laugh..."

She looked at him, serious for a moment before she gave him a radiant smile and scooted to the edge. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around him tightly...

This was taken out of a Control- chapter... but I borrowed some lines from it!

#9
Where were her clothes? Her shoes? Looking around on the floor - her bra in the corner, her panties under the bed, the blouse thrown over an armchair...

She looked at the man still sleeping in the bed looking so peaceful. Why could she never feel like that?

She knew why, of course - her job. And this life - could you even call it a life?

She put her clothes on. She had to go back to her place before going in to work. They couldn't show up late together again. Once was enough.

Keeping their affair secret came naturally - she had done it before. And he knew it... That was probably why he wanted the world to know they were sleeping together. He hadn't been able to hide a little smile when they got caught and actually looked disappointed when she managed to come up with a story.

She had to hurry. They were going to contact her this morning. She looked at the man in the bed. She needed him, no matter what, she needed him. He'd protect her, cover for her, lie for her because he loved her. This was more valuable and more beneficial than her former relationship - that had been... a mistake. An enjoyable mistake, but a mistake none the less, and when it ended it had been for the best. She couldn't let herself lose control like that. Never again.

She was all dressed and ready to leave. The man turned in bed and she smiled. She moved to the side of the bed and kissed his cheek.

"See you at work" she whispered softly and he grunted a response, still half asleep.

She smiled again, realising how glad she was that she had him now, and then she left, closing the door quietly behind her.

I thought it was Jack in the bed at first but it turned out to be Tony! LOL (Written for a challenge.)

#10
A doctor's appointment because she felt unwell, she was just so tired. She was completely unprepared for the diagnosis. Sitting in the doctor's office she suddenly felt sick.

Would she never get away from him? A child? No, she didn't want it. She shook her head at the doctor's smiling face making him quickly understand that this wasn't a planned or even wanted pregnancy.

Get rid of it, was her first thought. Get rid of it now! And she had almost interrupted the doctor with her request but she closed her mouth again.

She would have to think about this, he said. It was still early and she shouldn't do anything rash.

She looked at him. Of course he couldn't know that she never did anything rash...

She lay awake all night. Twisting and turning as the thoughts went on and on in her head. Thinking of all the disadvantages, all scenarios being thoroughly examined. What would she do with a child? She touched her stomach even though she knew it was too early to feel anything. Whatever was growing inside her was still too small. She felt nothing - she couldn't even imagine something was in there. The thoughts of becoming a mother seemed ridiculous to her. She would have to change her life and was she really willing to do that? Or - was she really able to do that?

And then there was of course the way this child had been conceived. Without any love, with force and hate. To be constantly reminded of what Jack had done to her? She wouldn't be able to stand that, would she?

Kill another of his unborn children, Nina? Can you do that?

She thought of Teri... How could she not? She had been pregnant. And she had been happy - Jack probably had too.

Nina having a child is a fascinating idea. This could be a part of another fic, I guess but I cut it because I made that fic all Jack's POV. Nina has the baby BTW - it is the ultimate leverage against Jack after all! :D

#11
Jack was sitting in his car outside the Coroner's office, just waiting for the man who was inside signing the release form. He hadn't been able to stop himself from coming here. The investigation was over, he had been cleared but still it didn't feel like it was over.

The Coroner's report was next to him, thrown on the passenger seat and he picked it up. He hadn't read it yet, not even opened it. He didn't expect to find any surprises in it nor did he expect to find any answers. But this was the last document on Nina Myers.

And he realized he still wanted answers.

A part of him even wanted her back. She had more information - she had the truth... and now he needed it more than anything. So many questions he wanted to ask her, to know who she really was. He figured it hadn't mattered if she was still alive - she wouldn't have given him the satisfaction of knowing. She would have smiled that superior smile and told him nothing. Or perhaps she would have explained? Finally telling him what he needed to hear? He knew he had had seen compassion in her eyes, and he had certainly seen fear. But it was too late and what was in this report would be the last thing he would ever learn about the woman he had known once.

The woman he had thought he had known once, he corrected himself, because she was never real. The woman he even had thought he loved once had never existed.

While he waited he opened the report and read the first page. Name, gender, age, height, weight... A photo.

He quickly turned to the second page.

The fic that I never seem to be able to finish! I have done so much research, written pages and pages and is really interested in - BUT it is hard to write about this! Maybe one day...
